Republican Congressman Tom Davis quit, basically citing the win-at-all-costs mentality.
I have to agree - where it is now more important to ‘look’ like you won that actually win, it is a sad state of affairs. While I did not agree with many of his points (especially the Schiavo episode), at least he finally stood up for what he believed.
